Open Journal of Chemical Engineering (ISSN: 2377-6250, e-ISSN: 2377-8318) is an international research journal and invites contributions of original and novel fundamental research. The journal aims to provide an international forum for the presentation of original fundamental research, interpretative reviews and discussion of new developments in chemical engineering. Papers which describe novel theory and its application to practice are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of techniques from other disciplines. Reports of carefully executed experimental work, which is soundly interpreted are also welcome. The overall focus is on original and rigorous research results which have generic significance. Open Journal of Chemical Engineering (OJCE) is a collaborated publishing project under Zibeline International and Academic Research Publishers.

Introduction

The discipline ‘chemical engineering’ is often used to describe a really broad area of engineering. It’s hardly surprising then that chemical engineers are known as ‘universal engineers’. At the most basic level a chemical engineer is involved in transforming one thing into another. Open Journal of Chemical Engineering, OJCE is an online free access journal and devoted to promotion of all fields of chemical engineering including Bioengineering; Energy & sustainability; Air pollution, Water pollution, Waste processing & management, Process safety, Industrial Hazard & Risk; Occupational Safety; Process Control and Design; Material Synthesis and Processing, Catalysis & Adsorption; Chemical engineering fundamentals and practices. It accepts research articles and technical notes. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed. Articles submitted to the journal should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the style of the journal and are subject to both review and editing.
